Thankyou God, for a lovely space (the Sanctuary) to welcome young children and their adults (mums, dads, grandparents, careers.) each week – it’s large, light, and airy

Thankyou God, for a variety of good resources, attractive to the children

Thankyou God, for two teams of committed helpers each week

Thankyou God, for opportunities for 1:1 conversations with the adults 
(Libby, our team leader, will be studying full-time next year, so unable to be with us) We ask you, God, to speak to those whom you want to join the Adventure Tots teams, perhaps in the role of coordinator/ having oversight.

We ask you, God, for continued energy for and commitment of the helpers

We ask you, God, for opportunities to share our love of Jesus with those who come along each week

We ask you, God, for good listening skills, and for wisdom in our responses

Mark 10:13-16 The Message

13-16 The people brought children to Jesus, hoping he might touch them. The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus was irate and let them know it: “Don’t push these children away. Don’t ever get between them and me. These children are at the very centre of life in the kingdom. Mark this: Unless you accept God’s kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you’ll never get in.” Then, gathering the children up in his arms, he laid his hands of blessing on them.

Father God, help us to love the children whom we meet each week. Give us childlike attitudes of trust and receptiveness in our relationships with you.
