but in the current lockdown, we have a mix of meeting online and in person at the church!

Our current Church Services (May 2020)

We are now live streaming the sermon from the sanctuary. You can also Join us on Youtube every Sunday at 10:00am for SBC Family Time and then our main service from 10:30am. If you would like to join us in the sanctuary for the live service then please complete the form below. Covid guidelines are being followed so face masks are compulsory as well as hand sanitising. Unfortunately, we are unable to sing at the moment and we will not be restarting Sunday Club or Sunday morning Youth groups at this point, so any children will have to stay with and be the responsibility of their parents/carers.

You can also join us for a Zoom discussion of that days message 10 minutes after the service has finished. See the details for the coming Sunday further down the page.

In Normal Times...

You can expect a warm welcome; great worship; relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

We have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages:

Sunbeams – for Babies to Pre-School,
Scramblers – for Reception to Year 2,
Climbers – for Year 3 and Year 4,
Explorers – for Year 5 and Year 6

Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs), together for the first part of the morning. At some point someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to go to their various groups. You will need to go with your children to their groups and register them as part of our child safety policy.

We’re glad you've chosen to have a look at our website, and hope you’re interested to find out more about Selsdon Baptist Church.

A church is primarily about people, and we are a friendly group of people who love God and live in Selsdon and nearby.

We have a church building on Addington Road, Selsdon, but at the moment we have limited use of the building because of the Covid pandemic. But that doesn’t stop us worshipping God – only many of us have to do it over Zoom and YouTube!

Most of us watch the live stream together at the same time (10 30am) on Sunday, and then join to chat and discuss on Zoom just afterwards.
We’d be delighted for you to join our live stream YouTube worship, listen to the midweek reflections on YouTube, or join the Zoom meeting.

Depending on the current restrictions level, there is the opportunity to join us to watch the live streamed YouTube service in the church building itself – check the service details for each Sunday for instructions.
