Give thanks for all the planning and preparation that has been done so far.
Give thanks for new volunteers who have come forward to help.
For the guests, especially those coming to H@H for the first time.
For Trevor’s ‘Thought for the Day’ and the Sunday afternoon session that will include a service.
For the team and guests to remain safe, strong, and healthy.
For a good atmosphere in which guests feel loved and cared for.
For the daily programme of crafts, activities, music, and entertainments to run smoothly.
For all the remaining preparation and loose ends that need to be tied.
For the setting up of all the rooms to run smoothly.
For meaningful conversations to take place during the week.
For the sound and technical side of things to work well.
For all the catering arrangements.
That the Holiday at Home experience will enable people to move forward in their faith journeys.
That all we do during the week will be pleasing and honouring to God.
That the people we don’t know but need it well come forward and join us
