Pam – Global Action Team
Paul says of the church, "If one part suffers, every part suffers with it."
1 Corinthians 12:26.
He also says, "Mourn with those who mourn." Romans 12:15.
In the light of that, let us pray for Ukraine.
Let us thank God for the leadership of President Zelensky and his government.
For the bravery of those defending their country.
For the Christians in Ukraine who are standing with and supporting all who seek/ need help at this time. That, quietly, God’s kingdom is growing in Ukraine. That the Baptist Church in Bucha is full every Sunday.
Let us pray for healing of mind and body for those who have endured or witnessed atrocities.
For those who have lost dear ones in this war.
For those whose lives have been turned upside down.
For the ending of the war, and that evil would not prevail.
Jesus said, "Stand firm and you will win life."
In the light of that, let us pray for persecuted Christians.
Let us thank God for Christians who know that it is worth giving up everything for Christ. Who will not abandon their faith in the face of persecution.
Nevertheless, life is very hard for them. Let us pray for pastors, who are always targeted, and for their families.
For strength for them to be faithful to The Lord.
For their safety.
For their persecutors.
For specific countries, Afghanistan, North Korea, China, Northern Nigeria, Eritrea, and others.
Jesus said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations." Matthew 28:18-19
Let us pray for the spread of the gospel.
Let us thank God for the organisations dedicated to spreading the gospel throughout the world.
Let us pray that they will continue to have the people and resources to commit to this.
For Feba, and many others.
