Jacqueline - Creche

Jesus commanded us to take care of children

13 Then the people brought their little children to Jesus so he could put his hands on them and pray for them. His followers told them to stop, 14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children.” 15 After
Jesus put his hands on the children, he left there.
Matthew 19: 13-15 International Children's Bible

Our Creche provides a space for youngsters up to 4 years each Sunday when our children and young people leave the service for Sunday Club and youth group sessions.   To comply with safeguarding rules we need there to be two adults with the children at all times. At the moment this means one of the parents stays each week. If we get more children attending we need a third person to be willing to be there e.g when a child needs to be taken to the toilet. This volunteer and the parent are not required to be there to set up or put away as the main volunteer
does that job.
Please pray that we will find people who are willing just to be there and chat with parents or children (no bending or crawling on the floor required!).  We are also in need of more volunteers who would be willing to set up and put away and read a story, so that volunteers are not called upon more than once every four weeks.  Please pray for these vacancies to be filled so we can
allow our parents with small children to be able to stay in the service. Please pray too for good relationships with parents and that they will feel they are leaving their child in a safe loving environment.
Amen
