Jane – Prayer team 

The reason for re-launching the Prayer Team on Sundays is to encourage our prayer life, both individually and as the church, the body of Christ.  We want prayer to feel a ‘normal’ part of our life together.

We have a team of 15 people who will be wearing bright green lanyards. We will be dotted through the congregation; at the end of the service we offer prayer at the front right of the sanctuary, at the rear foyer or folk can ask a team member to pray for them where they are. Our main job is to show God’s love and care, His desire is to share in our difficulties, pain, sorrow, in fact all of our lives.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will lead the Team members with love, discernment, and sensitivity. Pray that those who come to church, either for the first time or those who have been many times will feel comfortable and brave enough to ask for prayer if needed.

Philippians 4:6

With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints
