Bola - Global Action Team 

Thank you for being willing to pray for the Global Action Team (GAT). The team is comprised of
Trevor Neill, Linda Wright, Amy Davidson, Susannah East , and Michael Barbour.

We recently organised the Church quiz in November 2022, with the proceeds going to the Pakistan Floods appeal. We also decide prayerfully when choosing partners for the Church, including the
recent appointment of Joy Ransom as our overseas Missionary. Other projects included supporting Amy’s trip to Zambia where she helped build a local church alongside other volunteers, and provided Colostomy bags to people in need of them.

Please could you pray for :

• My local church in Nigeria – Ikorodu Road Methodist Church, Lagos. The Lagos state Government demolished our church in April 2022 to make way for a railway development. The Government only paid a paltry amount which is not enough to buy another piece of land, let alone build a new church. The Reverend with his wife and 3 children moved into my family house. The church services were conducted in my family home as well. With prayers and God’s help, the church secured a new building around August 2022. There are tenants still living in some flats so the Reverend cannot move into the new premises yet. The new building needs to be reconstructed into a church building, where we can also build a Manse for the Reverend and his family. Church services have begun partially in the new building, but the Reverend is still living in my family house. The church is relying on support from members in the diaspora because of how difficult things are at the moment in Nigeria.
• Please pray for the growth of the Church so members can continue to spread the Kingdom of God:

Matthew 16:18, “On this rock, I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.”
