Peace deal agreed in Ethiopia
On 2 November, the Ethiopian Government, and leaders from the Tigray region in the north of the country agreed to end two years of conflict. Talks are ongoing and a tentative peace deal now stands. Fighting between the two sides has stopped. Pray that all sides will uphold this agreement and for it to lead to peace between all people in Ethiopia.

SBC Partnership in International Needs Disability inclusion Project
For the next couple of years, we are partnering with IN Uganda, where Justus is leading a project to train teachers to value disabled children and help schools to make their premises more accessible for them. Pray that we’ll really get behind this project, so that both our lives and the lives of these precious children will be enriched.

China relaxes Covid restrictions
Thank God for all the benefits this will bring, and pray that this will not lead to a rapid spread of infections within and beyond this vast nation, especially as the rate of vaccinations within some sections of the population is low.

Putin isolated from reality
President Putin keeps himself physically isolated from the rest of the Russian population and makes decisions with very little advice. Pray that God will intervene in this desperate situation, and bring reliegf to the people of both Ukraine and Russia. Pray for the repair and protection of the Ukrainian infrastructure, especially power during the bitter winter. Pray for the Christian ministry of FEBC Ukraine and for International Needs helping refugees in Slovakia and Romania with accommodation
and other essentials, as well as counselling.

Violence in Haiti – 60% of the capital controlled by gangs
There is also a lot of corruption, and some of the police are paid by gang leaders. This is in addition to the suffering caused by multiple natural disasters. Pray for charities such as Tearfun trying to help the neediest people and for peace and stability to be established.

Violence against Christians and moderate Muslims in Cabo Delgardo Province, Northern Mozambique
This is probably the most brutal violence against Christians anywhere in the world. Please pray that the authorities will be able to re-establish control of this area, so that people can return to their homes, and for the Lord’s provision and comfort for the displaced and bereaved. Pray too for the effectiveness of Feba’s partner Radio Wimbe, ministering to the spiritual and material needs of the people of the city of pemba to the south of the area where the violence is taking place.

Spotlight on Qatar
Pray that poorly treated migrant workers will benefit from the world’s attention on this country during the World Cup.

Economic Crisis affecting families and individuals in UK and further afield
Pray for our government and those of other nations to make wise and compassionate decisions which will help people who are struggling to pay bills for essentials and to feed themselves adequately. Pray also for charities trying to help the poorest people here and overseas.
