Children and Families 

Well, September is on the way and I’m looking forward to planning our new groups which you can read about below.

Sunday Club has been running over August with 5–11s in one group upstairs in the small hall. We’ve had a good number attending and I’m grateful to those who have supported me, so the children could have this time together, giving our regular volunteers a well-deserved break too. From September, Sunday Club will be running as usual in three groups (Little Seeds in the coffee lounge, Story Tellers in room 1 and Sunday Club in the hall). Please note NO children’s sessions on 8 September, as we’re joining in ‘Selsdon Woods Open Day’ and a chance to be outside in God’s creation together with some planned activities.

Adventure Tots will return on 11 September. We will be emptying our very messy cupboard shortly and hope to clean, revive and reorganize the chaos into a more calming environment. If you have any time available on a Wednesday, do pop in to see us as the sanctuary is transformed into a wonderful picture of parents, grandparents and children having a great time. I’m also hoping there will be three other events running over this term, but to do so, I’d be grateful for a couple of teams to bring this to life. There is a table in the foyer with information on, so please do pray for our families in the community and whether you can offer a once-a-month support from September. 

I’m also pleased to say that Quest Primary School have booked me for two assemblies, and I will be continuing to knock on the doors of our other local schools. God bless Hilary
