Walking Together with Churches Together!
We were blessed with beautiful weather for our CTSA (Churches Together in Selsdon & Addington) Spring Walk on Saturday 31 May. Twenty people from several different local churches (and one little dog!) assembled at St Peter's Church in Limpsfield where we started with a visit to the church itself. Several legends of classical music – composers, musicians and conductors – are commemorated there. The church still had their beautiful Easter scene underneath the altar which was very moving.

Then we set off on our circular walk through the countryside around Limpsfield, stopping in Limpsfield Common to pose for a group photo and then finding a little wooden house made for the Peter Rabbit movie a few years ago. Apparently there used to be several of these little houses but most have fallen into disrepair. Our lunch stop was at the Carpenters Arms where we enjoyed excellent food in the large sunny pub garden and a chance to rest our legs. Then suitably fortified, we tackled the return journey.

It was a great time of catching up with old friends from other churches, as well as meeting some new friends. Many thanks to our leaders Karen and Kevin Holloway from St Mary's, Addington.
