SBC’s Crafty Ladies
Crafty Ladies have enjoyed another year together. We have newbies, I think that’s the trendy way to refer to new people joining our group. Apart from constantly chatting and enjoying a cuppa tea all have been very busy. Sheila H has a skill in crochet and has finished a wonderful blanket for her granddaughter, Imogen; she also knitted a scarf for her grandson, Ewan. Imogen and Ewan worshipped with us when they were living in the area.

Sue, who found us through my advert on Sainsbury’s notice board, is still knitting hats for the premature baby unit at Princess Royal Hospital, Kent. Knitted jumpers have been finished, tablecloths have been embroidered and hats for the homeless have been made.
June Finken finished the blanket for her friend and has posted it to her. Eleanor has been working on her greeting cards – such delicate work, beautiful designs. On one occasion when my granddaughter (aged 11) had a school inset day she joined us. Rosemary S was kind enough to give her a lesson in lace making.
